I realize time is getting closer to when I can purchase my very own Cricut machine(s), but I have changed my mind about which ones. I think I'm going to get this Personal Cricut and Gypsy bundle that I found. My BFF says she still uses her Personal Cricut (she refers to it as the original), the only thing about it that may be a downfall is that it uses the 6x12 mat. That may work for me for now, but I'm dreaming big! I really want the Gypsy cause I may find some people at the college that may want to try out new cards and I'll have that with me for that special moment.
I also started making a list for all the carts that I would love to have. I separated it into 2 columns (ones I want now and ones I can get later). I don't think my husband realized how much a cricut costs in the long run. You can say it was definitely "sticker shock" when I told him how much the ones I want now cost! I may have to sort through them and narrow it down, even though I didn't have that much chosen for now either. To think I was also thinking about getting the Expression or the Expression 2 also - I think my husband would have a heart attack if I were to spend that much on this right now.

11 Days and Counting
I've survived the first week of classes. Linux is a bit harder than I imagined it would be but I'm making it thru.
We've had another kink thrown into our path too. We were buying this house from a lady but we just got a letter saying that she let the house go back to the bank. I'm hoping we'll get into a new place before the bank decides that we have to be moved out. It's scary when you think about it. We're in the dead of winter and looking at possibly being kicked out of this house into the snow. I'm sure if we had to we could stay at my mom's until we got a place, but I don't want to be a burden on my mom either.
I still can't wait to get the Cricut machines. I'm looking forward to having them so I can get to work making cards like my BFF. If we have to I may have to wait to get them till next grant day but I'd rather get them now and make money than later and make money then. Time will only tell.

16 Days and Counting
I started college today and already have my first reading assignment to be done tonight for class tomorrow. I've started reading but just had to take a short break from it so I'm posting on here. Grant day is listed as the 25th of the month so I should be able to get the Cricuts then.
My BFF had to throw a kink in my thinking of which Cricuts I want to get. She mentioned about the new Cricut Mini on her blog which then had me thinking maybe I should try that. I might not change my decision though. I like the Cricut Expressions 2 because it has wi-fi capability and the Gypsy because it's portable. But now with that cricut mini, wouldn't that be just as portable? I'd have to ask her about it.

21 days and counting
Well, so far no money has come into our lives. College starts for me in 4 days making it even closer to getting that Cricut machine. I think I'm going to get the Cricut Expressions 2 and the Gypsy Cricut.
I'm looking forward to college since I'm starting a new major this time around. I'll be studying Microcomputer Technology. Computers have always been a huge portion of my life that I should be able to pass these with flying colors. Time will only tell. Since I was 10 years old, I have always been able to pick up a computer book and learn just by reading it. If all else fails, I can call my dad for help since he also knows computers. I'll keep you posted as to how things are going!

25 days and counting
Can you tell my excitement is increasing!?! I wish I had money right now to get that Cricut machine, but then again I have to think which one(s) I want. We may have an opportunity to get money sooner, but I won't know till Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. I haven't decided if I want to use that money to get the Cricut machine or not. First things first, I have to get the money first before I can decide how to spend it. I can hardly wait either the 25 days or tomorrow if it happens!
