Well after having a dry spell for months, I finally got a new cartridge and made 5 birds off it.  I love Birthday Bash cart.  I can see lots of potential for this cart.  I tried taking the pictures with the flash and as you can see I ended up with a huge area of light so I did them without flash.

Baby card

I had leftover pieces of the Baby Shower cards so I just made a Baby card.  I'm not sure what to use it for other than someone that just wants to announce the birth of a baby perhaps.

Baby Shower cards

I was just sitting at my cricut today thinking "what can I make that everybody could use?" and I came up with a Baby Shower idea.  I made the words "baby shower" and the high chair at size 3, the baby at size 2, and the sippy cup at size 1.  The pacifier, the stroller, and the bottle I think I made at size 2.  I used Gypsy Font for "baby shower" and baby steps for the rest of the components.

Second designs

Here are some more cards I made tonight.  I have one that is for a friend that recently had a baby and the rest are for Valentine's Day.

My First Designs

Here's my first group of designs.  They aren't the best yet but I'm still learning.  I figured make something for Valentine's Day since that's coming up.  The bases are cut to 4" x 4" and as you will see the cuts are different sizes and I don't remember what all I made them at.  Enjoy!

It's Finally Here!!

I have my Personal Cricut Cutter, Gypsy Cricut, and Cuttlebug with a few carts, dies, and embosses.  I don't even know where to start!  I did manage to get the Gypsy updated and carts linked so I can use that.  The only thing I didn't like about the Gypsy was that it has all the carts, not just the ones I linked to it so now I have to remember which carts I linked if I'm not at home.  I'm going to have fun I can tell already!

Just a few more days!!!

I realize time is getting closer to when I can purchase my very own Cricut machine(s), but I have changed my mind about which ones.  I think I'm going to get this Personal Cricut and Gypsy bundle that I found.  My BFF says she still uses her Personal Cricut (she refers to it as the original), the only thing about it that may be a downfall is that it uses the 6x12 mat.  That may work for me for now, but I'm dreaming big!  I really want the Gypsy cause I may find some people at the college that may want to try out new cards and I'll have that with me for that special moment.

I also started making a list for all the carts that I would love to have.  I separated it into 2 columns (ones I want now and ones I can get later).  I don't think my husband realized how much a cricut costs in the long run.  You can say it was definitely "sticker shock" when I told him how much the ones I want now cost!  I may have to sort through them and narrow it down, even though I didn't have that much chosen for now either.  To think I was also thinking about getting the Expression or the Expression 2 also - I think my husband would have a heart attack if I were to spend that much on this right now.
